Hell of a game that is.
Remember the days, when the NES version was the only available version. It was clunkey, and felt like a bad, uninspired NES game. But actually, it was a pretty faithful port. I am counting it to my most favourite nes games, though.
I wanted the original arcade game badly. Not just it is a cult classic, but also because it got high replayability.
Well … I was not disappointed. It played just as expected! And, since it got no input lag, I was able to break my record easily.
But I am slightly confused about the weapon selection in that version: The knife appears more often, and you can find the shield in the first loop too! I don’t get that. It is wierd to say at least.
